Easy Ways to Fit Exercise Into Your DayOk, so you don't have all day to devote to doing pregnancy exercises. Who does? But you can't use a lack of time as your excuse for not preparing your body for labor. With a few adjustments, you should be able to work all the specific pregnancy exercises into your day. First, lets start with the kegel. Get a sticky note and write "kegel" on it. Put this note in your bathroom where you will see it from your toilet. Do this for every bathroom you use in your home. Now, every time you use the bathroom you will be reminded to do 10 kegel contractions before you leave. With the amount of times a pregnant woman uses the bathroom you may be able to get in up to 200 a day! Moving on to the squats, make laundry day your squat day. Take each piece of clothing out of the dryer separately, and squat to get each one. Since you may not yet have enough family members to be doing laundry every day, other squatting tasks could be getting your makeup out of the drawer in the bathroom or getting your shoes out of the closet. Now, on to the tailor sitting. If the chair at your office is big enough, wear pants to work and tailor sit right on your chair. You will probably find it to be much more comfortable, and the desk will block your legs from visitors view. Start eating your meals at the coffee table instead of the dinning table, or sit tailor style to watch television. The last pregnancy exercise is the pelvic rocking. Once you try this exercise there will be no need to encourage you to do it, it just feels good. But still, working them into a busy day can be frustrating. You can't really do them if you share an office, but you could go out to your car for lunch and do a few pelvic rocks in the back seat (if your car is big enough) before going back into work. Doing pelvic rocks before lying down for the night can help you relax, prevent a sore back and get you an extra hour or two of sleep before you have to get up and go to the bathroom.
